65, passed unexpectedly on August 18, 2018 at home. He was the husband of the late Shiela W. (Pierce) Mooney. Born in New Rochelle, New York he was the son of the late James and Jane D. (Mahon) Mooney. David worked at Providence College as head of the academic computing department for over thirty years. He is survived by 9 nieces and nephews and three step children.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, September 8th from 2 - 4pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private.
